Product storage
Finnfoam
Finnfoam panels are packed into packages using a PE sheet and the packages are delivered on pallets whose spacers are made from Finnfoam, which can be used as thermal insulation. As a material, Finnfoam is waterproof and it can be stored on the construction site without weather protection. However, for long-term storage, the panels must be protected from direct UV radiation.
FF-EPS
The FF-EPS panels are packed into packages using a PE sheet and the packages are delivered on pallets whose spacers are made from Finnfoam, which can be used as thermal insulation. The FF-EPS pallet is packaged using a PE sheet, which protects the panels from solar UV radiation. In short-term storage, the panels can be stored outside in their packaging (do not wrap the panels in clear plastic). For long-term storage, the panels must always be stored protected from weather conditions and solar UV radiation.
FF-PIR
The FF-PIR panels are packed into packages using a PE sheet and the packages are delivered on pallets whose spacers are made from Finnfoam, which can be used as thermal insulation. The packages can only be stored in their packaging for short periods on the construction site, as the packages are not waterproof. For long-term storage, the products must be protected from moisture and solar UV radiation. FF-PIR insulation products whose thickness exceeds 100 mm are only available on XL pallets, on which the products are not packed into separate packages and are instead only protected with a waterproof pallet hood.
The FF-PIR GYL products with a gypsum board surface must always be stored on the construction site protected from moisture, wind, and solar UV radiation.
Tulppa
The Tulppa panels must always be stored on a flat surface, regardless of the thickness of the panel. Additionally, the panels and other products must be stored in a dry area, protected from sunlight, dirt, fire, and solvents. Dirt has a negative impact on the adhesion of mortar used to fix tiles, which is why the panels should always be covered, for example with the protective board included with the pallet. If the topmost panel in a stack begins to warp, turn the panel over and it should return to its original shape.
FF-SIGNAL
FF-SIGNAL can withstand UV radiation during construction. For long-term storage the products must be protected against UV radiation. On-site, the FF-SIGNAL signal amplifiers must be protected from weather conditions before installation.
FF-WALL
The FF-WALL small elements are packed on to a pallet and protected with plastic. The small element packaging is only intended to provide protection during transportation. The transport packages were not designed to provide weather protection at the construction site, which means that the packages should be protected from rain, dust, and solar UV radiation on the site. The products must be stored on a flat surface.
